I am currently a student at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. I have successfully completed my first professional year and will return this fall to complete the second year of the program. In May of 2015 I graduated from Sacred Heart University with a bachelors degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. During my four years at Sacred Heart University I also had the great honor of being a D1 athlete on the Track and Field Team.
I have always had a love for the sciences and enjoy teaching these subjects as well. While I was at Sacred Heart University I was able to tutor in Pre-Calculus and also Physics I and II. Students would come to me with any questions they had on concepts or specific homework problems they were struggling with. I have also been hired at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences to tutor in 3 courses that I have completed during this past academic year. I am passionate about learning and hope that I can help students understand concepts and learning strategies so that they are able to be successful in any class that step foot in.

Q & A

What is your teaching philosophy?

Not everyone learns the same way. There often is more than one path or perspective to the right answer.

What might you do in a typical first session with a student?

During a first typical session with a student, I would want to focus on what concepts the student is struggling with and how I can help their understanding with these specific concepts. .
