I have completed a PhD in Mathematics and currently I am working as a Math Instructor for the college level math courses. Also, as a graduate teaching assistant, I was involved in teaching mathematics as an instructor, a recitation leader, a computer lab instructor and a tutor in Mathematics Learning Center. Thus far, I have gained experience in teaching both developmental and the college level math courses such as Basic Maths, Intermediate Algebra, Math Modeling, Problem solving, College Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus sequences, Calculus-Life Science, Calculus- Engineering Tech. and, all the contents of finite mathematics, discrete mathematics, probability and introductory statistics.
Basically, I like to make the sense of mathematical concepts to the students and develop their critical thinking by the use of their experiences, ideas, interests and common attitudes. I strive to connect abstract and isolated concepts to real life applications. The ultimate goal of my teaching is to make them feel that math is a creative, interesting and practically understandable subject.
