### Paul

Math tutoring is my passion! I love helping students become (or continue to be) successful in mathematics. I'm currently finishing up my PhD in Mathematics and I am an expert in algebra and probability, which are the focus of my dissertation. I also have both a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in mathematics. In addition, I have both teaching and tutoring experience. I've been working as a math tutor since 2009 and during that time, I've also taken on various teaching roles. I've been both a TA (teaching assistant) and a full instructor of mathematics at the University of Delaware. So, I've covered a broad spectrum of roles in the classroom.

I always put my students first and I want nothing more than for them to succeed. I take on clients of all academic skill levels. If you're a student just struggling to pass a class, you'll find that I'm a supportive tutor who helps you get the extra practice that you need to succeed. If you're a students that has a 95% in the course, but just wants to do better, you'll find that I can take you above and beyond the course curriculum and prepare you for future math courses. If you're somewhere in the middle of the pack, you'll find that I can teach the same material in many different ways so that things click for you and you can become that "A" student.

Thanks for taking the time to look at my profile. If you're on Varsity Tutors searching for a tutor, chances are that you're exactly the type of student that I enjoy working with the most (one that takes initiative!). So, please feel free to contact me.
