I have an extensive background of academic success as an honors grade school student, straight A student at University of Maryland (Go Terps!), and will begin my doctorate in clinical psychology Fall 2016. My extraordinary writing skills and natural niche for math are to credit for my academic success. After college I spent three years in Washington, DC doing clinical psychiatric research with children and babysitting for families in DC where I spent many evenings and weekends helping children with homework.
I believe education is the key to success and am excited to help your children fine tune whichever academic subject with which they are struggling. From years of working with children, I have the patience necessary to help a child work through concepts they may not understand. I also think very logically and can break down subjects to help children perform more efficiently for test-taking.
In addition to working with children, I enjoy traveling, being outdoors, reading, and doing anything creative.
