Q & A

What is your teaching philosophy?

Easy-going, easy to understand; I make content/material relatable, and I'm extremely patient.

What might you do in a typical first session with a student?

I may start with giving an understanding of my background, experience, and how I plan to help the student. I would also like to understand what the student's educational goals are, and then move forward with a plan to work together.

How can you help a student become an independent learner?

I would give the student easy to remember guides and tools that will help the student self-teach when I'm not around.

How would you help a student stay motivated?

Making the content easy to understand, very relatable to the topic, and focusing our tutoring time together in the topic at hand. I like to make learning fun, and make sure that there is commonalities in the content and material.
