As a pre-medicine student at Antioch College, my major is a self-design called “Health and Human Rights.” My language experience includes working as a Spanish tutor for college students and as an English teacher for elementary-age Nicaraguan kids. In addition, I have traveled around Mexico, studied in Spain, and lived in Nicaragua for a 3-month internship. I love tutoring all subjects, particularly languages since I feel like we make real, tangible progress with conversation skills. I also find tutoring SAT math fun because of my love for helping others work through complex problems. In all subjects, I am a tutor who strives to aid students to reach their fullest potentials through persistence, patience, and commitment to growth. Similarly, I believe that every student has the capabilities to achieve success, regardless of background and apparent ability. In my free time I watch foreign-language films, go to dances, draw, and dabble in new languages.
