Explaining a concept to a confused student in a way that will spark understanding is very rewarding. The whole process; from figuring out how to explain it, to hearing them exclaim “Ohh! I finally get it.” is music to my ears. This is a big factor into why I make a great tutor – it is something I thoroughly enjoy doing.
Additionally, the subjects that I tutor (science and math) interest me greatly, and I know them thoroughly. Through college, science and math where my favorite subjects – and ones that I excelled at. Since college, it has become a passion to pass on the knowledge of these incredibly fascinating subjects. Due to my genuine interest of these subjects, I am able to teach them with enthusiasm and energy: something that is contagious.

What is your teaching philosophy?
A good education is the most important thing a child can get. If done correctly, education prepares students to think critically, question curiously, solve problems, socialize, and be open-minded. After meeting these 5 goals, a student will be able to learn anything they want on their own -- the best skill somebody can have.
