The most important thing to me as a tutor is seeing the success of my students emerge because of the work that we meticulously complete together to achieve both of our goals. I enjoy seeing my hard work manifest itself in how much more capable my students feel about themselves and the type of work that I have empowered them to handle. I have previously worked for on-site tutoring services like Kumon North America and have enjoyed this work very much because of the in person contact that I get with my students and how much more I am able to provide them face-to-face. Currently, I am studying for a BS in Chemical Engineering at the University of Southern California, but I have lived in Texas my entire life before I began my Freshman year at USC. Because of my proclivity for Engineering, I am well equipped to teach all levels of Math up to Calculus 3 and Biology, Physics, and General Chemistry. My teaching philosophy and tutoring style is becoming a better learner as I assist others to learn. Tutoring is an evolving process, and my goal is mold myself to the students that seek me for help. I hope to be able to be precisely the kind of teacher that my student needs while also learning how to be a better instructor myself. Beyond the classroom, I enjoy outdoor activities like hikes, going to the beach and long boarding. The culture of Los Angeles and the beauty of the city are the reasons that I've moved 1200 miles from my hometown of 18 years. I enjoy all the food and the people from across the globe that I am so lucky to be able to experience.
