Hello, my name is Camille Denton and I am currently an Elementary Teacher at Heritage Oak Private Education in Yorba Linda, California. At this school, I have learned the importance of developing a child’s learning is with a well-rounded education that includes programs in all elementary subjects as well as music, sciences, and the arts. I have had the privilege of working with Junior Kindergarten through Seventh grade students this year in all elementary subjects. Technology, Sciences, and the Arts integration in all classroom settings is truly a passion of mine, and the lower elementary grades hold a dear place in my heart.
I am a recent graduate from the University of Southern California, Rossier School of Education and have had the privilege of gaining my teaching experience with the Fullerton School District at Orangethorpe Elementary School. During my teacher preparation program, I gained tremendous insight and experience with students from various backgrounds and educational levels. I consider myself a lifelong learner where I will reflect on my work with students in order to provide an effective, engaging, and positive classroom experience to promote student learning. My teaching experiences have allowed me to develop and implement lessons in language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, art, and other elementary topics. I have learned the mission and purpose of student learning is to promote the intellectual, social, emotional development of all students by encompassing high expectations and providing motivation and resources for students to achieve their fullest potential.
