Since graduating from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering I have been on a dynamic path experiencing multiple leadership positions, enhancing my collaboration skills, and preparing the next generation of scientists and engineers. After a successful four years as an educator I transitioned into a more direct application of my engineering education and I am currently in the engineering industry. Although I enjoy the engineering industry, I still yearn to teach, and I am excited to be tutoring with Varsity Tutors!
I was engaged in the revolutionary UTeachEngineering Program at The University of Texas at Austin. During this time I studied and implemented a variety of cutting-edge pedagogical methods designed to increase students’ critical thinking skills and retention of knowledge. As an educator, I have been able to apply my innate sense of curiosity, my desire to enhance the lives of others, and my passion for engineering to my work with innovators in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math field. As my time as a teacher, I have personally created, developed, and executed seven different course curriculum. While working with a variety of learning styles and skill levels in the classroom, I have refined my ability to think on my feet and I am confident that I will be able to adapt to any audience or clientele I may be presented with in the future.
