When teaching students, either in a formal setting or outside the class, every teacher’s goal is to increase knowledge and a thorough understanding of the concepts.
I believe that Physics being such an applied field, where students can constantly apply the concepts and theory learned in the classroom, encourages independent thinking and analytical reasoning. I place great importance in the development of independent thinking and group interaction among students while guiding them towards the learning of concepts and solutions without interfering with their natural progression towards those goals. Being able to share independent ideas and validate them with those of others, are important processes in social and mental development. The teacher must test the ability to apply learned concepts in new situations. This could be done using the tutorial method of teaching, which has always interested me. The tutorial method is based on more interactive and personalized way to convey the information necessary to complete certain tasks.
