My focus is always on the student experience and how I can custom-tailor my teaching methods based on their needs. No two students learn in exactly the same way, and I always strive to teach the material in a way that not only works best for the student, but will also help him or her become a strong independent learner. It is important to me to create a focused yet enjoyable learning environment for the student so that I can learn where he or she is struggling and best help them understand and retain the material. I have significant experience working with students in both home and school settings, one-on-one, and in groups. Every tutoring opportunity is a learning experience for both the student and myself, and I look forward to helping more students while furthering my own knowledge of what it means to be a good tutor.

What is your teaching philosophy?
My teaching philosophy is that the experience is all about the student. No two students learn in exactly the same way, and it is important to approach a topic in whatever way works best for the student. It is a tutor's responsibility to both respect and show interest in his or her students. This way, strong communication can develop and both the student and tutor can work through the material in a way that is most accessible for said student.
