Grace

I am a third year law student well-versed in both sciences and the arts, who is open to tutor or help with the college application process in whatever way possible. In high school, I took 11 AP courses, the ACT and the SAT. At UCLA as an undergraduate student, I majored in Microbiology and took the MCAT, the GRE and the LSAT. I am currently at Loyola Law School completing my final year.

What I'm trying to say is that I understand that exams are an unfortunate fact of life. I have felt that stress and disappointment that arises after expending so much effort to prepare only to receive a score that was less than what you were expecting. My experience, having taken so many standardized exams and having to hone my test-taking skills each time, has taught me to not just study hard, but study smart by recognizing patterns and learning the tricks.

I have tutored, advised and mentored several high school students since my time as an undergraduate student at UCLA, and have a younger sister about to go through the college application process, herself. So I am still well-versed in the challenges that face high school students today as the enter the increasingly competitive application process. My goal is not only to help a student get better grades and scores that afford he/she more opportunity, but also to help that student develop the self-confidence he/she needs to articulate to colleges why he/she is the best candidate for his/her desired program.
