Adrienne

I was a California 5th grade, long-term substitute teacher for the 2014-2015 school year in an elementary school where I taught the core subjects of Math, English, Science and History. I worked at a bi-lingual school, so, I am able to communicate on an intermediate level in Spanish. I am currently residing in the greater Chicago area because I am serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA at Youth Build, where I am the Bridge to College Specialist. I have experience working with Elementary through High School aged students. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of California Santa Barbara in Environmental Science and Anthropology. Throughout college I played on a soccer team and I danced with the dance majors ( I adore dance!). My first passion in school was studio art, therefore, I have experience in drawing, painting and ceramics. I would love to hear from any student who has any further questions and thinks I may be the perfect fit. As a teacher at heart, I hope that together we can work together to make you the most successful student possible!
