Before going to Harvard, I attended high school in Oregon. After losing a high school student council election, I decided to take French—which sparked my passion for languages. I am fluent in Arabic, Spanish, and French and also speak German. During high school, I taught a college prep workshop on the SAT, ACT, and college admissions.

A longtime resident of Oregon, I am passionate about the outdoors, I am notorious for my love of chocolate—“it’s the easiest way to make friends!”—and love to go berry picking in the summers. I also enjoy yoga, biking, and eating pizza.

For me, tutoring is all about the challenge of explaining the material in a way that suits the students’ needs. As for helping students with the college application process, my experience has given me a unique insight into the world of college admissions. “Schools admit you as a person, not as a student” I always say. “I’m here to help you find the best path for you.”
