I am a undergraduate student at New College of Florida. I am working towards my Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a focus on environmental economics. I have had a wide variety of tutoring experiences specifically with statistics. I am currently a statistics tutor at the New College of Florida Quantitative Resource Center. For two semesters, I was the teaching assistant for Introduction to Statistics. I have also tutored high school students taking AP statistics and college students taking online statistics classes. While I am obviously passionate about tutoring in statistics, I can also tutor students in Algebra, Economics, and business courses. Problem solving is an essential life skill. Part of problem solving is learning the concepts rather than memorizing facts. In my experience helping struggling students to problem solve rather than memorize is how they start to really understand the course materials. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, exploring new places, and road trips!
