I am a graduate student in English Literature at the University of Colorado Boulder. I received my B.A. in English with a minor in Spanish from Centre College, a private liberal arts school in my home state of Kentucky. As an undergraduate, I realized the transformative power of education and decided to pursue a career as a college professor. My philosophy is simple: teach with passion. I infuse my lessons with my enthusiasm for language and literature. When it comes to tutoring, I do not believe in “one style fits all.” When I working one-on-one with a student, I become invested in their success, tailoring my approach to fit their specific interests and learning style. Outside of the classroom, I lead an active life. I hike, run, and mountain bike. I also love to travel; I believe that every trip is a chance to broaden your mind. As an undergraduate, I studied abroad in both Spain and London and after graduation I spent time exploring the U.S., making several cross-country trips and working in locations such as Glacier National Park and Aspen, Colorado.
