I have a BS in Mathematics from Union College and a Master's in Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh. I took a break from tutoring mathematics to pursue my other interests in the field of healthcare. I focused on community health and had the opportunity to work with people from all backgrounds and of all ages. I truly enjoy helping others and watching them succeed in whatever area of life they want; that is why I like being a tutor. Previously, I tutored algebra in high school and went on to tutor all levels of math in college with a focus on Calculus and the core skills needed to succeed in that subject. I really enjoyed my time tutoring in college because I really got to know students and watch them progress over the entire class duration. Building that relationship with students is what I enjoy most because it creates a fun environment for learning where students can feel comfortable discussing struggles openly while working toward the ultimate goal of understanding and critical thinking skills. In my spare time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, reading, exercising, baking and doing crafts.
