I earned my PhD in Biochemistry at the University of New Hampshire after completing my Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology at UMBC. As a graduate student I taught Biology and Biochemistry Lab as both a teaching assistant and an instructor. I earned a TA Fellowship three years in a row for my excellence in teaching. I was also a Visiting Assistant Professor for a year at Elmira College, where I taught Chemistry and Biochemistry (lecture and lab). As well as having a passion for science, I also have excellent math skills and enjoy discussing the philosophy of mathematics. I know many tips and tricks for approaching math problems, especially the style given in standardized tests. Outside of the classroom I enjoy camping, science fiction, cooking, and nerd sports (video games, tabletop games, MTG, etc.).
