As a former teacher I recognize the importance of a strong foundation in education and hope to make learning come alive for all students. I have an undergraduate degree in Secondary Education from Indiana University and graduated with my masters degree in Social Work from the University of Chicago in 2013. I taught second grade for two years and worked as a secondary teacher and teacher trainer in Malawi, Africa with the Peace Corps. I love teaching a challenging new subject and watching the students excitement grow as they excel and have fun. I hope to make the learning process fun and exciting by customizing the lesson to best suit the student's learning style. In my free time I enjoy hiking, going on adventures, and ice cream.
