I recently graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Honors) and a Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering. During school, I had the opportunity to TA courses in design and air pollution for students from a range of academic backgrounds. I'm passionate about teaching science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) subjects and love witnessing the lightbulb turn on for young learners. In particular, I enjoy tutoring foundational science and math, as these subjects open up entirely new ways to understand and reason about the world around us. My style of tutoring is fluid, and that's not just because I like fluid dynamics! I work with students to gain mastery by tying first principles and their personal experience to the task at hand. When I'm not tutoring, I can usually be found playing my guitar, prototyping some clean technology idea or reading a book on the beach.
