When I was ten years old, I started developing a strong passion for science. The driving force behind this passion was math and thanks to my patient and kind teacher, Mr. Deuschamp, who showed me how useful and fun math could be. This singular event motivated me to pursue math even more.
About a year later, I began competing in math competition and gained some success with my school's math team. While in high school, I became fascinated with chemistry and physics and started competing in science competitions. I found myself gravitating more and more to the subject.
When I got to the University of California, Irvine, I decided to study chemistry as part of my degree. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Science with an emphasis in chemistry. At the moment, I have aspirations to pursue a PhD in Physical Chemistry and ultimately become a teaching professional in the field of chemistry.
As a result of my academic success with math, chemistry, and physics I have been providing private tutoring since 2010. Tutoring requires a lot of commitment, dedication, enthusiasm and a strong knowledge of the subjects. It is important for me to represent these values every time I tutor someone because I want the student to be successful. For me, it gives me great joy and satisfaction to see the person I tutored do well in their subject and as of now, all my students that I have tutored have achieved high academic marks in their subjects. In my free time, I practice tennis with my friends to stay competitive in order to be able to play tournament when it comes.
