I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration at Georgia Southern University, where I majored in Accounting. I am in the midst and preparation of earning my Certified Public Accounting (or CPA). I am also considering pursuing a Master's Degree in Accounting.
I tutor two accounting aspects: individual income taxes and external auditing. Despite earning an accounting degree, I also hold tutoring expertise in mathematics. I have tutored children ranging from elementary through college in math.
My favorite subject to tutor is mathematics because I love numbers and I love to help students understand the concepts of how these numbers cooperate with other aspects of math such as graphs and variables.
I have a personal tutoring philosophy that helps the students out: "The sooner you begin, the sooner you finish", simply meaning that the sooner the student is motivated to work, the sooner the student can finish his work and have more time for themselves.
Outside of tutoring, I love to spend time with my family and I love to enjoy my spare time outside. I love to walk and walk five miles every day.
Math is my life and I love helping students, so I would do my very best to help students that are struggling with math succeed; to make the connection between math and students become clearer.
