I am a graduate of San Diego State University, where I earned a M.Sc degree in medical physics. I received my Bachelor's degree from California State University, Northridge. Currently, I am preparing to start a PhD programme in physics. I have been tutoring for over six years either at the university, or privately, as well as teaching full-time, or part-time for over four years at the university and high school levels. Naturally, I teach my favorite subjects which I also enjoy studying, namely math and physics. To me, studying a subject cannot, and should not, be merely an obligation for one to fulfill in order to get good grades. Studying is a skill and an activity to be enjoyed, and so is critical thinking. As with any activity, one gets better at it through repeated practice. From my personal experience, the goal in one's mind should always be taking joy in learning the subject well, and overcoming frustration; excellent grades will then be a delightful side effect! I enjoy playing chess with humans (or getting beaten by computers!), soccer, playing the oud, and listening to jazz and classical music.
