I graduated from Temple University with my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. Although I studied mathematics heavily during my undergraduate, I was also a Pre-Med student, which spread my focus to other sciences as well. I hope to enter medical school next fall, on the road to becoming a primary care physician. While in undergrad, I spent some time tutoring students in mathematics, particularly in an enjoyable, yet difficult math major class called Number Theory. I now tutor most high school math, physics, and chemistry, with a particular fondness for tutoring chemistry. As a tutor, I think it is of the utmost importance to help break down misconceptions and to build conceptual understanding, but in the way that makes it easiest to remember for the student. One can focus on remembering all kinds of knowledge, but unless it sticks, it’s not truly effective. Outside of academics, I enjoy playing my guitar, occasionally my saxophone, relaxing with a good game of Sudoku or chess, and working out at the gym.
