I am a graduate of Mississippi State University. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and studied for a semester in Zaragoza, Spain. My mother is a native of Spain so much of my time growing up was spent in Spain with my family. After graduating I was an assistant to S.P.E.D. at an elementary school for a year which can be rewarding and exhausting simultaneously. I also tutored at the University of Southern Mississippi in the athletic department which gave he opportunity to practice my tutoring skills and get to know some talented athletes. I successfully completed the certification for T.E.S.O.L. through the American TESOL Institute, hopefully I will be able to travel and teach in the future. Most of my employment history has utilized my skills in Spanish linguistics in some form or another. Helping someone understand a new language can be extremely rewarding for both parties.
