I have an undergraduate degree in sociology from New York University and a Master of Science in Global Affairs from Rutgers University. I wrote my 100 page master's thesis on the application of ethics in a counterinsurgency campaign. Since 2009, I worked at two international non-profits before moving on to tutoring in 2013. I am able to tutor Writing, History, English, Economics, Algebra 1, and Chemistry. I am also able to assist students with their Executive Function skills. I like to learn about a student's strengths and weaknesses, and approach my sessions with a level of openness and honesty. I prefer to work with a student's personality and shape my sessions around that, rather than compelling a student to adjust to my way of doing things. Outside of tutoring I write and perform music, and I write monthly articles for The Examiner about crime in Los Angeles. I also enjoy sports, movies, and current events.
