I am a graduate of California State Polytechnic University in Pomona. I love science so much, I earned a Bachelor's of Science in Microbiology and another Bachelor's of Science in Biotechnology. As a graduate student at Cal Poly Pomona, I have taught undergraduate courses to students and, in doing so, have developed strategies and solutions for overcoming the obstacles students face. I have a great deal of experience in biology, chemistry, and physics. I consider myself a solutions finder for difficult problems.
In tutoring, I am patient and offer my students an open environment where they can reveal the areas they're struggling in and discuss any misunderstandings of the textbook material. I hope to provide an understanding into the often hard to grasp natural world.
I am also a lover of fine arts and can often be found spending my free time at a local art or natural history museum. I am currently a graduate student and am also a scientist at the City of Hope where I hope to earn a PhD while working towards medical advances to fight cancer.
