I am a recent graduate of MIT, with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. I have been tutoring since my sophomore year of high school, and while I am now in consulting, I could not give it up. I have tutored students from sixth grade to college seniors, and I have always been commended for creating an approachable atmosphere that is not present in the student's classroom, which is in my opinion, the difference between a teacher and a tutor. I also pride myself on creating a lasting impression on the student. After all, if the student's performance decreases when I leave, I really have not done my job.
I have a natural gift for Math and Science tutoring, with various approaches to every problem. My upbringing (my father wrote plays, and had a PhD in English) has also left me with a strong interest in the languages and social sciences. Most of all, I excel in Microeconomics tutoring.
I am also well traveled, having lived in four different countries, each of which was a diverse environment, and visited many more. This has taught me to make fast connections with my peers, as well as my students.
Thank you for your consideration, and I look forward to meeting you!
