I graduated from the University of Rochester with a Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Engineering and minor in Biology. I worked for a year afterward as a Mechanical Engineer before joining the US Army. Now that my tour in the Army is over I'm working toward a degree in Game Design, a lifelong dream of mine.
As a college student I led workshops in an Electrical Engineering class. In the Army, after being promoted, I was responsible for the learning and development of some of my fellow soldiers. I've always considered myself a tutor. I have a lifelong love of learning and knowledge and have always jumped at the chance to teach someone something I was familiar with. I've always been the person my fellow students came to for help with studies and homework and I enjoy that role immensely.
My favorite area of study is the sciences, particularly Physics and Biology, although I'm knowledgeable in a range of subjects. I believe students learn best by doing, rather than listening or reading, which is why I attempt to make the tutoring experience as interactive as possible.
In my free time I enjoy playing video games, reading books and online magazines, learning programming languages and running.
