Eliza

I graduated from Macalester College in Saint Paul, MN with a BA in History and Classical Civilizations. During my junior year of college, I studied abroad at Oxford University where I focused on Medieval British history. While in College, I taught a group of 9th grade students at a local synagogue. My class focused on the role of women in some of the most pivotal stories in the bible. This experience gave me first hand experience in tailoring subjects to the learning styles of my students and also taught me how to bring subjects, often viewed as boring, to life for them. I really enjoy working with students on History and English, as well as Critical Reading and Writing test prep. I hope that my students come away from our sessions with both the factual foundation that will they need to succeed, and a broader understanding of the subject’s importance. In my free time, I love, reading, creative writing, riding horses, playing with my dogs and spending as much time as possible outside.
