I have more than 10 years teaching experience as an instructor of German at college and community education levels. I have taught individual learners of different social and cultural backgrounds as well as learners with special needs. I enjoy getting to know my students and designing lesson plans specifically for their language needs.
I hold a PhD from the School of Education, University of Nottingham, and a Master's degree from the University of Jena, Germany, in German as a Foreign Language, English & American Studies and Intercultural Business Communication.
In my spare time, I enjoy activities with my husband and son, and I also love walking my dog and volunteering with my local animal rescue. I practice yoga and I like reading.
