Hello! My name is Trisha and I just graduated with a B.S. in Cell and Molecular Biology from The University of Texas at Austin (HOOK 'EM!). I am currently working with MD Anderson in the Department of Pulmonary Medicine, where my research focuses on the importance of mast cells in inflammation and hypersensitivity. My future plans include attending graduate school in clinical research and pursuing a career within medical research. I have loved biology since my middle school days of watching nerdy forensic crime shows and I feel so lucky to be able to share my passion now! I have worked with students of all ages in various areas and levels of math and science, including biology, algebra, geometry, microbiology, etc. I love seeing my students progress and conquer their obstacles, which makes tutoring a very rewarding process for me. During the weekdays when I am not soaking up knowledge, I love to play tennis and workout, try out new restaurants (foodie-in-progress) and relax with a good book. I love meeting and working with new people, so I cannot wait to get started!
