I specialize in English and Spanish language tutoring. Since 2011, I have taught students of all ages and backgrounds, as a 1:1 tutor, assistant, and head teacher in the United States and abroad. I most recently came back from an amazing year as a teacher's assistant in Tadanoumi, Japan as part of the JET Programme. Prior to this I've taught international students in San Diego, indigenous women in La Paz, Bolivia, and offered private tutoring to students from ages 8 to 60. I am fluent in English and Spanish having spoken both all my life; I can introduce you to different Spanish words and phrases I've learned from my travels throughout Central and South America. My goal is to create a fun and relaxing atmosphere with every student I meet so they can be comfortable and excited about improving their education.
I am a Chicagoan born and raised where I earned my bachelor's degree at Columbia College. After moving to San Diego to earn my TESOL Certificate, I have since made Los Angeles my home. My hobbies include reading, watching films, playing my guitar, eating at many of LA's great restaurants, cooking, running, watching soccer, and traveling. I look forward to meeting you!
