I'm a fourth year undergraduate student at UC Santa Barbara, and grew up in Santa Monica, CA. I will be graduating in the Spring with a Bachelors of Science in Biopsychology. My passion lies with working with others. This summer I embarked on the most enriching experience of my life when I traveled to Honduras for a Medical and Dental Brigade. There I assisted in providing the necessary medical and dental attention to underserved citizens of the community in Jutiapa, Honduras. This experience of a lifetime reminded me how important it is for me to give all that I can back to a community, whether the community be students or people in need. In my undergraduate career I have enjoyed and mastered the subjects of Psychology, Chemistry, and Math. I love Algebra, Trigonometry, Pre Calculus, and of course helping middle schoolers and elementary students with their math homework! My father is a professor of engineering and has instilled in me the passion for math, and how to teach others how I approach these problems. I enjoy helping students with General Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry. I have found ways through the Chemistry Outreach program at my university to help students understand and enjoy the principles and foundations of chemistry in hands on, exciting experiments! My specialty and research is in psychology, which I am very happy to tutor, too. I have additionally had students come to me for assistance in Literature and Reading too. I am a strong believer in giving students the individual attention necessary to give them the confidence and foundation to tackle theses subjects they're struggling with. In my free time I play volleyball in beautiful Santa Barbara, Hike, Dance, and volunteer as a Dental Assistant. I love to travel, and explore new places.
