I am a professional singer who is passionate about the French language. I spent two years in Nancy, France, studying voice and French while teaching English at a French high school. During the course of my study in France, I was awarded the Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française (French equivalent of the TOEFL) and am now completely fluent in French. I am uniquely situated to teach French grammar, pronunciation, conversation and oral/written comprehension, having painstakingly learned each aspect of this marvelous language during my time in France. I have over seven years of experience teaching students of all ages. French is truly a passion and I look forward to imparting the beauty of this language through our sessions together. In addition, I have a Bachelor of Music degree in vocal performance from Wheaton College and a Master of Music degree in Opera Performance from the University of Maryland. I am pleased to offer private lessons in voice, piano and flute. Beyond the concert hall and teaching, I enjoy calligraphy, biking and comedy. I look forward to meeting you!
