MY PERSONAL STATEMENT
I have been tutoring for over five years now, and I intend to continue for as long as I possibly can. I double-majored in Drama and Politics at New York University with a minor in English and I am currently pursuing a career in acting. I pride myself on being well versed not just in one subject, but in a broad selection of topics. This ranges from English literature and composition and US History to Advanced Precalculus and Physics. I love athletics and play multiple sports, always trying to keep in shape (but I'll warn you, I'm from Boston MA so I'm a big Red Sox/Celtics/Patriots fan haha...). I am extremely passionate about music and I play multiple instruments, including piano, guitar, drums and harmonica. Finally, and most importantly, I've been a struggling student myself. I know what it's like to want very badly to do better in school or on a standardized test, but to be stymied by both internal and external obstacles. I think my personal experience in overcoming these obstacles makes me particularly effective in assisting all the students I've taken on over the years.
