I am a graduate student at California State University Northridge studying mathematics. I would definitely say I have a passion for mathematics as well as a passion for teaching it. Once I complete my masters this fall I will be getting my teaching credentials and then my doctorate in mathematics. Along with my math experience I have also coached (dance/flags) for several years. I love it! I was able to travel around the country and meet new people. Today I spend my free time doing math research, hiking, or family activities. I find it very rewarding to tutor and love doing it. As a student myself, I have found tutors very helpful. They help not only when I struggle but when I need reinforcement of the material. I would like to share the same experience with my students by exploring mathematics not only as a class, but as an art form of logic. I try to instill confidence in my students as well as introduce them to different methods of approaching a problem to better understand it. I have experience tutoring all levels of mathematics.
