I am a recent graduate from Cal Poly Pomona. I graduated with my B.S. in Chemistry with a focus in Chemical Science. My senior research was in chemical education, where we helped local high schools improve their methods for teaching Stoichiometry. By using a method called Ratios and Proportions, I've helped many students in many grades understand and pass general and AP chemistry. Chemistry is also closely related to math, so I've tutored students with the math required to be successful in chemistry. I enjoy tutoring using the Socratic method of teaching, since it transforms boring science problems into fun puzzles to be solved!

I worked as a resident advisor while at Cal Poly Pomona. I got to be a role model and mentor many different students. Being a resident advisor also taught me the importance of good communication and how to get on the same level as the students.

In my free time, I enjoy video games and science fiction literature and television. I also love traveling and discovering new places to eat.

In short, I'm a fun, understanding person with plenty of tutoring and education experience. You can count on me if you need help in chemistry or math!
