MY PERSONAL STATEMENT
I am in my fourth year majoring in Neuroscience and Biology at Emory University. I absolutely love working with students of all ages, especially in middle and high school. I have had tutoring experience since I was in high school. I believe students learn best when taught by a peer with a thorough understanding of the subject at hand. I prefer to guide the student through the learning experience by teaching them the concepts behind each problem. Problem solving can be approached from many directions and I respect how each person approaches and solves a problem.
I am looking forward to working closely with parents and students to develop a lesson plan catered to each student to help them do better in school and feel more self confident about their scholastic achievements.
