MY PERSONAL STATEMENT
My main goal as a tutor is to teach my students to learn on their own; to be independent learners. Once my goal is reached, they would not need a tutor. I always encourage them to solve a problem on their own and give them as little help as possible. I try to show my students that with a bit of diligence and patience any problem could be solved. If my student is lacking the knowledge of the basics I always make sure to cover them quickly before teaching the more advanced subject. In high school, I myself struggled with physics and math, so I have a good idea of what could be confusing to students and I know a lot of memorization tricks and analogies to simplify the hard concepts.
I also specialize in teaching College math and physics and preparing the student for the math and physics section of the following standardized exams: GRE, MCAT, OAT, DAT or any other exam of this sort which requires the knowledge of college level physics and math.
I have almost 6 years of tutoring experience. I tutored mostly college freshmen, one class of high school graduates and several high school students.
