MY PERSONAL STATEMENT
I graduated from UCLA in 2010 with a B.S. in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology. I then pursued a M.A. in Medical Sciences at Boston University and graduated in 2012. My first tutoring experience dated back to when I was in middle school and tutored other middle school students. I built upon my passion for tutoring during high school and tutored in subjects such as AP chemistry, AP biology, AP calculus, grammar, and writing. My approach to tutoring is to always put the students' needs first. I am accommodating and flexible in my teaching style and always incorporate humor and personal anecdotes to make concepts easier to process. I believe in building a positive relationship with my students and their family, so they can trust me and feel comfortable enough to ask questions and not be embarrassed or afraid of making mistakes. In my spare time, I like to go bowling, do karaoke, watch the NBA and tennis, scope out new restaurants, and cook! I look forward to working with you!
