MY PERSONAL STATEMENT
I recently graduated magna cum laude from Yale with a Bachelor of Arts in History of Art. I'm from Los Angeles, though I was born in Colombia. I've been living in New York since the beginning of June, when I started working in a curatorial department at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I hope to spend a few years working before I head to graduate school to pursue a PhD in History of Art. With this advanced degree, I hope to start a career as a curator at a museum. In the next few years, I would like to start learning German and possibly continue my Russian language study. I would like to spend more time with Europe, after a very fulfilling study abroad experience in college, perhaps for scholarly research on French or Dutch art, and to continue perfecting my French.
