MY PERSONAL STATEMENT
I am a recent graduate of Concordia University where I received my Masters of Education, Curriculum and Instruction degree. I have a multiple subject clear credential from California State University, Los Angeles, and have been teaching middle school math and science for 6 years.
I enjoy teaching because it is the best feeling in the world when you finally see the students “get” what has been taught. I teach from a student driven point, meaning the students have to find the answer and can’t get away with “I don’t know." I also make sure the student has ways to remember what was taught using pneumonics.
The spare time that I do have allows me to relax by making a quilt or going to the field to play some paintball. On the weekends, you can typically find me at Disneyland or out riding my bike. When at home, I like to browse through my cookbooks and whip up a new recipe for the family.
