MY PERSONAL STATEMENT
I have been tutoring kids of all ages for over four years. I specialize in children with ADHD and learning disabilities and basically every child who has seen learning as more of a chore than an amazing opportunity for exploration and discovery. I am not satisfied with simply having my A students (gracefully) slave through each school day or having a client begrudgingly raise his or her C- to a B+ after poking his or her anemic brain repeatedly with a stick. For me, the biggest reward as a mentor is seeing the look of awe in their faces after kindling the fire that fuels their curiosity and inspires them to learn about the world that surrounds them (while still managing to boost them up to the top of their class by cultivating discipline and superb study and test-taking skills!). I take pride in knowing that most of the clients I have worked with can now see learning the way I see it; and I look forward to the day when they unleash that inner Einstein or Da Vinci or Newton and become the scholars, innovators, and leaders of tomorrow.
