MY PERSONAL STATEMENT
I received a Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology Major (B.S.) and History Minor from Emory University.
Throughout my undergraduate years, I worked as a Biology teaching assistant at Emory (leading review sessions in the advanced and introductory courses). Today, I mainly tutor students in Biology-related courses, including Human Physiology and Neuroscience.
As a medical student at New York Medical College, I hope to offer students interested in a career in medicine additional breadth and specialized mentoring. Moreover, I also enjoy writing and would be more than happy to assist with college essays, especially scientific writing.
In my free time, I enjoy volunteering as an EMT at a local ambulance corps, reading and cooking.
