MY PERSONAL STATEMENT
Hi, my name is Sarah and I just completed my junior year at Washington University, where I am studying Systems Engineering. I have experience tutoring Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, and Trigonometry, but I have completed and excelled in math up through Calculus, Writing, and SAT as well. I personally benefited from having more direct and one-on-one teaching, so my style is to quickly adapt to the learning style of each student to help them quickly grasp the material. I believe working through problems together, measuring and tracking improvement, and staying sharp on the material throughout the week are important components of tutoring. On the side, I own a restaurant in the Central West End, which has been an incredibly rewarding and educational experience that has supplemented my academics.
