I graduated from the University of Houston in May 2011 with a BS in Biomedical Engineering. I have recently completed a doctorate in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Houston.
I have experience tutoring ages ranging from elementary through college since 2010. I can tutor many levels of math and advanced math, biology, physics, and chemistry, as well as all levels of Spanish.
When it comes to teaching I like to get to know my students and adjust my teaching style to better suit their needs. I have learned that some students are visual learners, some learn better by reading through the assignment a few times, and others may use verbal communication to retain the material. Every student is different and I like to take that into account.
Teaching is a passion for me, especially when I can help students understand concepts and become more confident in their talents. Whether it is a young student just beginning to develop their scholarly abilities, or a more of age student that is beginning a college career and pursuing his/her goals, I strive to advance each student’s skill set to not only attain their goals, but to exceed them! Tutoring is more than a job, it has become an important part of my life in my attempt to make a difference. When I am not tutoring I enjoy listening to music, reading, drawing and traveling.
