MY PERSONAL STATEMENT
I graduated from the Arizona State University, Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, with a J.D. I earned my B.A. in Political Science, and B.S.E. in Education from Kent State University. After graduation, I moved to the Navajo Nation to teach 7th Grade Social Studies and 6-8 Remedial Language Arts. I also taught 10 different subjects at a charter school in Phoenix. My students met and exceeded standardized test projections and requirements. While attending law school I taught a weekly high school law class, wrote for the Law Journal of Social Justice, and clerked at several law firms. I enjoy teaching a wide variety of subjects. My favorite aspect of teaching is helping my students cultivate a curiosity informed by knowledge. I always learn something when I help others learn.
