MY PERSONAL STATEMENT
Hello! I've always been involved in mathematics from the earliest of ages and have regularly used it in my studies. Often I have been enlisted to assist others with studying math at all levels and occasionally other subjects.
In general I find that the best aspect of tutoring is that the typical one-to-one nature is the ultimate in small class size, allowing for full attention to be given to the individual. In part because of my set of eclectic interests, I find all interests to be equally valuable and play some role in society, small however it may be. (There is some intrigue in just about everything!)
For standardized tests like the SAT and ACT, knowing the strategies for the test is often as important as being able to determine the answer. The structure of the test and the questions influences the test-taking strategy, and so I focus on that as well as the material itself.
